Miley Cyrus‘ approved group of workers made a case for the “Flowers” copyright lawsuit to be thrown out of courtroom docket.
Should you have been unaware, the 31-year-old Grammy winner and her co-writers have been sued in September amid allegations that the chart-topping track copied portions of Bruno Mars‘ hit “Once I Was Your Man.”
Bruno used to be no longer involved inside the lawsuit, which used to be filed through a company referred to as Tempo Music Investments. They purchased a portion of the the track’s copyright from co-writer, Philip Lawrence.

In reaction to courtroom docket bureaucracy received through Billboard, Miley‘s group of workers argued that the pass smartly with couldn’t continue since Bruno and two of his co-writers weren’t involved in it.

Tempo’s approved group of workers responded, claiming that the argument used to be a “bogus” argument.
“We’re no longer an assignee; we’re the owner of the copyright. The law is clear that now we now have the right kind to put in force our interest,” they mentioned in a press release shared with Billboard.
