Phil Lesh has unfortunately passed away.
On Friday (October 25), it used to be offered that the bassist and founding member of the rock band Grateful Useless had passed away at the age of 84.
“Phil Lesh, bassist and founding member of The Grateful Useless, passed peacefully this morning. He used to be surrounded via his family and filled with affection,” Phil‘s Instagram account shared.

The musician co-founded Grateful Useless in 1965 with Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Ron “Pigpen” McKernan, and Invoice Kreutzmann.
Phil is survived via his partner Jill, and sons Brian and Grahame.
